Do you offer group classes or only private sessions?
Both. We offer private, in-home training as we feel it is the best way for both you and your dog to learn new skills. We are able to customize the program to your exact family situation and learning styles for faster results. However, group classes offer the benefit of working around other dogs in a controlled manner. Please check with the Canine Coach in your area for specific services offered.
Isn't private training expensive?
No. Private sessions are great value for the money invested and sometimes the best solution for your particular situation. While we love group classes and the benefits of controlled distractions, the instructor is limited in offering one-on-one attention. Please call us to determine if private sessions, group classes, or a combination of both, are best suited for your particular situation.
I don't live in a city that has a DOGTIME® Canine Coach, will you still come to my house?
Depending on where you live, if you are relatively close to an area that has a DOGTIME® Canine Coach, the trainer may still travel to your home (extra travel fees may apply). Please contact the Canine Coach in your area for further details.
What days and hours are appointments available?
DOGTIME® Canine Coaches set their own appointment schedules. Most offer appointments on weekday evenings as well as weekends. Many offer weekday daytime appointments too. A few even offer early bird or night owl appointment times. Please contact the DOGTIME® Canine Coach in your area for specific availability.
Does my dog have to be vaccinated to join a group class?
We require all puppies attending group classes to have one or two sets of core vaccinations depending on the minimum requirements set by your individual Canine Coach. We request all adult dogs to have vaccinations for canine distemper, canine parvovirus and rabies within the last three years. We also accept serum antibody titer tests. After discussion with your veterinarian, if you choose not to vaccinate your dog, please contact the Canine Coach in your service area discuss.
