GROUP CLASSES

The goal of all our training is to show you how to get the best from your dog.

We will teach you, the handler, how to communicate effectively with your dog as their teacher. As the teacher, your responsibility is to not only care for, shelter, feed and love your dog but to make, teach and enforce clear and consistent life rules.

There are many ways to train a dog as each dog is a unique individual with their own personality. All of DOGTIME's® training will emphasize mutual respect between you and your dog and most importantly, you'll learn how to set your dog up to succeed.

Training will become an enjoyable, team activity between you and your dog ... and a well-trained dog gets to go out and have fun!

I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly, vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.
- John Steinbeck

Puppy Primer Private Sessions
The goal of the Puppy Primer program is to teach your puppy good habits at the start so you do not have to break bad habits later.

We recommend that you begin with our Puppy Primer program and then continue with our DOGTIME® KinderPuppy group classes. Both private sessions and group classes include a personal DOGTIME® Canine Coach to assist you at every step along the way.

Please contact the DOGTIME® Canine Coach in your area for appointment availability and more info.

KinderPuppy Group Classes
The goal of the DOGTIME® KinderPuppy group class is to continue the essential lessons started in the Puppy Primer Program or to introduce these lessons if your puppy is new to DOGTIME® training. Learn how to stop all that puppy nipping & mouthing, jumping up on people and pulling on the leash all while introducing your puppy to basic manners such as sit, down, wait & come.

The DOGTIME® KinderPuppy group classes are held once per week for eight weeks, either on a set or rotating schedule. The small trainer-to-puppy ratio is an effective and great way to introduce dog-to-dog socialization in a fun and non-threatening atmosphere.

The DOGTIME® KinderPuppy classes and your personal DOGTIME® Canine Coach will ensure that your growing puppy continues to learn essential lessons that will prepare you and them for their next life stage -- adolescence.

Please contact the DOGTIME® Canine Coach in your area for class schedules and more info.

If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.

Beginner & Intermediate Group Classes
SAM Adolescence may be a challenging time for both you and your young dog as it will appear that your dog is testing the rules and defying your leadership. This is a common age when dogs are surrendered to shelters. Adolescence is also a sensitive learning stage and your dog will continue to need calm leadership and structure in order to successfully progress through this time. Both DOGTIME® beginner and intermediate classes include a personal DOGTIME® Canine Coach to help you with your canine adolescent.

The goal of the beginner and intermediate classes is to build on manners learned in puppy class, such as sit, down, come, loose-lead walking & heel, as well as address any specific concerns in a structured, yet fun atmosphere.

Please contact the DOGTIME® Canine Coach in your area for class schedules and more info.
