As the first trainer to join DOGTIME^®  Canine Recreation Company as an DOGTIME^®  Authorized Canine Coach, I can eagerly say that it was the best decision I could have made for the development of my dog training business. 

     This is a new business concept, yet I have been so very impressed with the professional approach that Michelle Sevigny has presented from day one.

      Once I met Michelle at a DOGSAFE canine first aid course (her sister company), I knew I wanted to be a part of her team.  She has many talents, but what stood out for me was her dedication to a high standard in all that she presented.  This in turn, led me to believe that the end result for the canine would be positive.  Not only was I looking for an opportunity to develop my business, I wanted to be part of a team that represented integrity.  There are many training styles out there and I wanted to represent the philosophy that would educate and support the movement towards positive training. Michelle is so focused in her dedication to educate those who work with, own and support the canine industry.  

     The first resource that I found extremely helpful was the DOGTIME^®  Authorized Canine Coach Operations Manual.  I was able to blend my style of training with the method that Michelle had documented for my use.  I was able to follow the structure of DOGTIME, while being given the freedom to use my own style.  Also, clients received a very professional package when hiring me for training.  The mentoring that I have received on an ongoing basis has been invaluable.  Being a new trainer, I had many questions and concerns that I was able to not only share with Michelle, the founder, but also the other DOGTIME Authorized Canine Coach in Calgary, Brad Schneider. The networking opportunity has been extremely helpful in the development of my business.  It was so time effective for me to start a business that already had logos, marketing material, a training structure and a mass of start-up information.  Finally, the piece that I just would not have had the time to take on was the social media. DOGTIME^®  Recreation Company is on the leading edge of marketing and social networking.
