Are you looking for new ways to have fun with your dog? Looking for another class beyond beginner and intermediate?
Dogtime’s mission is to maximize the enjoyment shared between humans and dogs and our DOGTIME® Tricks class is designed to do just that….it’s all about fun!
Yes, every dog can learn a new trick, even old dogs. Your dog has natural talents and instinctual behaviours and we want to help you bring out the best in him.
Are you thinking “I don’t want my dog to learn tricks, just basic obedience”? If we think about it, ‘sit’ and ‘down’ are just tricks. A trick is really anything that your dog does naturally and we will then be asking for it on request. The difference is that we usually end up laughing hysterically while teaching your dog to ‘high five’ as opposed to a ‘down’.
Join us for the DOGTIME® Tricks class.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket
and then giving Fido only two of them.

While our goal is always to have fun, learning tricks, learning anything really, is mentally challenging for your dog. This is a good thing! The DOGTIME® Tricks class is a way to tire your dog out mentally and a tired dog is a good dog. Therefore, each trick will be taught in short lessons with lots of rest breaks.
We will introduce tricks just like regular training. We will start out easy and then slowly increase the level of difficulty.
We will have a variety of tricks that you may choose to teach your dog. While you can teach all dogs all tricks, it is faster to teach your dog a trick that matches what he is already keen on doing. This will be easier for him and more fun for you.
